BEGINNING SOMETHING NEW

Introducing St. Paul AME Church 2.0. Historically our church has operated as a traditional mainline Methodist Church ministry for nearly the past two centuries; focusing predominantly on Worship. But, God is about to do a new thing in our Ministry!

OUR NEW VISION

We envision a church ministry F.I.S.H. ing differently to reach and engage souls to expand the Kingdom of God, while having greater social impact throughout the community we are called to serve.

Our 2.0 ministry plan involves establishing new evangelism and outreach programs that will reach and attract diverse audiences of young and older persons. We plan to become more involved in the community at-large seeking opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with other faith organizations, nonprofits and government and business leaders leveraging our ministry resources, assets and expertise to have greater social impact in the community at-large. The goal is to become more of a 21st Century Church Ministry working to identify address many of the diverse needs of individuals and families living in the community while expanding our capacity to serve them spiritually, socially, intellectually and physically.

our local church ministry so that we can do more to serve members of the greater Harrington Delaware community and beyond.

Our future involves expanding our physical footprint and ministry capacity to do more throughout the community to have a greater impact on the lives of men, women and families who are in need of finding hope and encouragement to face life’ challenges each and every day.

As we move into the next years of Church’ ministry journey our desire is to become more understanding of the needs of the community and its people.We plan to become more innovative, more engaging in the community and more impactful delivering ministry programs that are relevant to living in and throughout the community to help transform lives of individuals and families holistically.

St Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church has served the community of Harrington as a local church congregation since 1830 A.D. Our ministry is housed in a modest historically designated church building located on West Mispillion Street in the town of Harrington a small community in the southern tip of Kent County, Delaware.
